There are three ways to transfer a call using your Yealink Handset:
- Blind Transfer: This is when you directly transfer the call without calling the extension beforehand.
- Semi-attended Transfer: A semi-attended Transfer transfers a call to another extension while the extension is ringing.
- Attended Transfer: This is when you call the extension prior to transferring the call.
How to Carry out a Blind Transfer
1. Press the Transfer Key on your Yealink Handset and this will place the caller on hold.
2. Either:
- – Enter the number from the placed call list.
- – Press the Speed Dial key if you have a Speed Dial key set up.
- – Press ‘Directory’ and select the desired contact.
3. Once you have chosen the desired contact, press the Transfer button again.
How to carry out a Semi-attended Transfer
1. Press the Transfer Key on your handset or the Transfer Soft Key during a call.
2. Enter the number you want to transfer the call to and press ‘Send’.
4. Press the Transfer Key or the Transfer Soft Key when you hear the ringback tone.
How to carry out an Attended Transfer:
1. Press the Transfer Key or the Transfer soft key during a call.
2. Enter the number you want to transfer the call to and press ‘Send’.
3. After the person answers the call, press the Transfer Key or Transfer Soft Key again.
