Businesses should be careful about allowing employees to enter company information into public AI tools. Depending on the service and its settings, information entered into an AI system may be stored, processed or used in ways the business hasn't considered.
Employees should not enter passwords, customer details, financial information, confidential documents or sensitive business data unless the tool has been approved and the business understands how that information is handled.
