Adjusting Spam Filter Settings

  1. Open up Outlook.
  2. Click on the "Junk" and select "Junk E-mail Options" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the "Options" tab> Select the desired level of spam filtering> Click "OK":
    • No Automatic Filtering: Mail from blocked senders is still moved to the Junk Email folder.
    • Low: Only the most obvious spam is caught.
    • High: Most junk email is caught, but you need to check your Junk Email folder periodically.
    • Safe Lists Only: Only emails from your Safe Senders List, Safe Recipients List, and domains listed in your Safe Senders List are delivered to your inbox.

4. Increasing the spam filter level can help catch more potential spam but may also filter out some legitimate emails. It is essential to review your Junk Email folder periodically to ensure no important emails are missed.
