1. Open up the Control Panel. To do this click on the Start menu> Type "Control Panel"> Click on the Control Panel from the search results.

2. Once in the Control Panel, head to the "Network and Internet" option> Click on "Network and Sharing Center."

3. In the left-hand sidebar, click on "Change adapter settings." This will display a list of your network connections.

4. Find the active network connection you are using (either WiFi or Ethernet).

5. Right-click on the active connection and select "Properties" from the context menu.

6. In the properties window, scroll through the list and select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)," then click on the "Properties" button.

7. A new window will appear. Select "Use the following DNS server addresses."
