The Digital Growth Voucher typically funds 50% of the cost of a project, however there is a chance that you could receive a higher level of funding depending on the levels of digital transformation, business performance, productivity and innovation. The value of the project MUST be between £4,000 - £25,000.

Northern Disposal Services are a waste management company operating from two physical sites, the main head office is located in Mirfield with a secondary office in Rochdale. Both sites are fully manned with operational staff. Their IT infrastructure had been in place for around 5/6 years and had done well, however it started to slow down which was affecting their performance and the efficiency of the business which limited potential growth.
Just before they applied for the Digital Growth Voucher, the main head office invested in a leased line to see if this would improve any speed issues. However, it was apparent that the issues were with the physical equipment itself. By investing a new IT infrastructure, it gave Northern Disposal Services the ability to improve turn around time for quotes and proposals which gave them an edge when dealing with prospects and clients. This resulted in a growth of their business and creation of new jobs.
The refreshed equipment included a new bespoke server, the newest version of Windows and a new powerful laptop to improve remote working. They also upgraded all of their VoIP handsets to improve efficiency remotely and in the office. They now have access to technology such as Microsoft Azure, offsite backups, remote apps and one-drive integration.
