What can we say about the year 2021, it has been very similar to 2020! We have faced lockdowns, remote working and even snow days but the positive aspects certainly brought a lot of joy to our team! In this blog, we are going to look back on the memorable moments of 2021!

What can we say about the year 2021, it has been very similar to 2020! We have faced lockdowns, remote working and even snow days but the positive aspects certainly brought a lot of joy to our team! In this blog, we are going to look back on the memorable moments of 2021!

Early 2021

January saw a new lockdown which meant many businesses faced the prospect of working from home again. Our engineers were on hand to help out and put plans into place to make sure our clients were able to continue to work.

The first 'snowday' of 2021 also came in January, which allowed us to capture the office in a Winter wonderland. In March the major renovation of our office was complete, this also allowed us to welcome back our development and marketing teams who had been working from home whilst the final touches were completed.

Summer

Whilst the weather wasn't brilliant, our team certainly enjoyed summer 2021. With the Euro's starting in June, our team took part in a sweepstake which added an extra level of competition to the knockout stages. Our sweepstake winner was decided in the semi-finals which saw former software developer, Dale Birkett have two teams in the final meaning he took the pot! In July, our team had a night out in Leeds where we went bowling and around arcades!

The Last Few Months

The last few months have been incredible for Edmondson's IT. In October, we celebrated our 10th year in business which was a massive achievement. In November, the good news kept coming as we became 'IT consultants of the year', an award which we are incredibly proud of and made our 10th year one to remember!
