Challenge

Mockridge Labels faced a major challenge as they relied on an outdated bespoke development system which was no longer supported. The system was also reliant on one person for management, leaving the company vulnerable to disruptions in case of technical issues. This also meant that if there was an issue with the software, the company would face a significant length of downtime before it was restored. We upgraded their previous obsolete software to a bespoke system with a wide range of transformative features, allowing Mockridge to streamline operations and dedicate more time to growing their business. The system was extremely user-friendly which made it accessible to both new and existing staff to use the system with ease. We also migrated all the data seamlessly from the previous system to preserve historical records, so they had access to all the necessary data.

One of the standout benefits was the system’s ability to significantly reduce product waste. By accurately calculating the amount of product per sheet, the company was able to gather insight that allowed them to optimise the production process and minimise the number of resources used.

Our bespoke software also helped Mockridge adopt a new approach to the way they manage their stock with the stock auditing features. Mockridge used to make products based solely on orders, as they were unaware of their exact product inventory.
