Challenge
Hyde Associates was hit with an issue that their office building was selling, and they had to get an infrastructure fast which allowed staff to potentially work from any environment and anywhere. They were still using Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, which was extremely outdated and was the end of its lifecycle at the time. Microsoft discontinued technical support for the server, forcing users to migrate to Microsoft 365, Office 365, or Exchange 2019. Due to the office sale fast approaching they needed the right solution fast.
Solution
Our experts worked directly with the Hyde Associates team to migrate them to Microsoft 365, ensuring they had a scalable and future-proof solution. We moved all the server's services, including their emails, to the cloud. This migration was the best and most cost-effective option for them to transition using the latest Microsoft features while ensuring as little downtime as possible.
We pushed Microsoft SharePoint, a robust collaboration platform that allows file sharing across the entire company. Because of the built-in cloud management system, their entire team had access to files from anywhere. They now have an easily accessible shared workspace that allows them to work from home. The co-authoring feature was extremely useful for them as it allows multiple people to work on the same project at once, resulting in great shift in their overall efficiency. They made extensive use of this feature to improve communication and overall service quality. SharePoint Workflows are another important aspect of their daily work life.
